HiSpec Wheel strives to provide the highest quality product possible at a cost that is both competitive and affordable. To this end, all HiSpec Safety Wheels are built in ISO/TS 16949 certified automotive manufacturing plants located in China. These offshore manufacturing facilities also produce many of the wheels for world renown German, and Japanese luxury automakers.
These state of the art plants are equipped with CNC machining centers, automated casting machines and are fully comparable to the best manufacturing centers anywhere in the world.
The technical specification ISO/TS 16949 has become the global benchmark for quality management by automotive suppliers. Certification of conformity to ISO/TS 16949 is required of suppliers by OE manufacturers as a condition to tender for participation in global supply chains.
Certification must be renewed in an annual surveillance audit through an extensive inspection of the plant and an in depth review of records related to processes and materials.
HiSpec also ensures the quality of its products by inspecting parts post-production. In the Mishawaka, Indiana laboratory testing is available to verify the mechanical properties of various samples as well as a full three-axis CMM machine on site to verify dimensional conformance to specifications. Analysis of the alloy chemistry and an X-ray of the wheel is also available if needed.
All of this is done to ensure you get the highest quality, safest wheel available for your towable RV or custom trailer application.
